Authorities of Terekeka accused Jubek State of involving army to fight the youth in Mangala County.
Terekeka Minister of Information James Modi Lomindi blamed Jubek authorities of deploying the army in the area to fight civilians, Radio Bakhita reports.
Meanwhile, Mangala Commissioner Elario Paulo Fataki denied the accusations.
He says the soldiers in Mangala were defending themselves against attacks by youths allegedly from Terekeka State.
Commissioner Paulo on Wednesday told Bakhita Radio that security situation in Mangala is now calm and civilians have started returning to their homes.
