President Kiir urges South Sudanese to unite for peace

The President of the Republic calls on South Sudanese to unite in implementing the peace agreement.

Addressing hundreds of Imotong State communities on Tuesday in Juba, President Salva Kiir expressed commitment and determination to continue navigating the boat of peace, Radio Bakhita reports.

President Kiir urges the people of Imotong to end all forms of violence and embrace peace in the state.

Meanwhile Imotong Governor, Natisio Loluke Manir, says his administration will work hard to end starvation within the state in the upcoming three months.

Communities of Imotong State this morning marched to the State House to congratulate President Kiir for the formation of Transitional Government of National Unity.

They also appreciated him for approving creation of more counties.
