Kajo-Keji Community meeting last Saturday formed a five-member committee to meet President Salva Kiir over insecurity in the county.

County Press Secretary, Derick Derickson tells CRN on Monday that the committee will go through Yei River State Governor, David Lokonga to address insecurity in Kajo-Keji.

The community meeting also resolves that all detainees in Kajo-Keji military base must be released, Derickson says.

He adds that the meeting demanded for a joint security patrol in the county including Police, Wildlife, Fire Brigade and Military Officers.

The official believes more than ten people are under military detention in Kajo-Keji County.

CRN could not independently verify the information.
