Transitional Government of National Unity declared in Juba

President Salva Kiir has declared the Transitional Government of National Unity.
 
The Transitional Government of National Unity formed retains most old faces from previous cabinets.
 
The old faces that have retained their previous seats include Dr Martin Elia Lomurö of Cabinet Affairs, General Kuol Manyang Juuk of Defence, Paulino Wanawilla of Justice, General Isaac Mamur Mete of National Security, Michael Makuei Lueth of Information, Deng Athorbei of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr Riak Gai Kok of Health.
 
New faces in the cabinet include General Alfred Ladu Gore as Minister of Interior, Dr Richard K Mulla for Federal Affairs, General Taban Deng Gai for Mining, Dak Duop Bishop for Petroleum, Dr Lam Akol Ajawin for Agriculture and James Janka Duku for Livestock and Fisheries.
 
Other new faces in the cabinet include Dr Dhiew Mathok for Energy and Dams, Manor Garang Mabior for Water Resources and Irrigation, Mary Alphone for Land, Peter Marcelo for Labour, Hussein Mar Nyuot for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management.
 
Peter Bashir Gbandi surfaces as the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Deng Alor Kuol as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Stephen Dhiew Dau now the Minister of Trade and Industries, John Luk Jok for Transport, Rebecca Joshua Okwaci for Roads and Bridges, Josephine Napwon for Environment and Jemma Nunu Kumba for Wildlife Conservation.
 
Dr Peter Adwok Nyaba recovers the Ministry of Higher Education as Dr John Gai Yoh disappears from the new cabinet.
