The Mayor of Juba City Council has called on the youth to throw away tribalism and become ambassadors of peace and unity.
Mayor Stephen Wani Michael advises the youth to avoid being manipulated by politicians to spearhead violence for selfish interests, Radio Bakhita reports.
Albino Bol Dhieu, the President of South Sudan National Youths Union agrees with the mayor saying the youth should unite and preach peace to communities to rebuild what has been destroyed.
The officials were speaking during a meeting on Wednesday.
