Namorunyang State hosts World Malaria Day

South Sudan this Monday joins the globe to mark World Malaria Day nationwide in Namorunyang State in Eastern Equatoria region.
 
Imotong State Malaria Coordinator, Tobias Magezi says the day is celebrated with several activities including distribution of over five thousand treated mosquito nets, Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
Dr Luka Monoja represents President Salva Kiir at the event in Namorunyang State.
 
The occasion is marked under the theme ‘Doubling efforts to prevent diagnose and treat Malaria; join Namorunyang State’.
 
Member of Parliament, Dr Theophanous Ochan and Undersecretary in the Ministry of Health, Dr Matur Makur are some of the guests in Namorunyang State’s countrywide Malaria Day marking.
