A heavy rain with strong wind has destroyed more than 20 houses and injured four people in Yei Municipality.
Some residents who have fallen victims of the incident speak to Radio Easter about their disappointments over losing property.
The losses they enumerate include flour, salt and clothes blown up by the strong wind
The victims say they are now taking refuge in their neighbourhood as they struggle to erect the new shelters.
All the houses destroyed were roofed with iron sheets.
It is not clear whether the government will intervene in assisting the victims of the disaster.
