The governor of Yei River State has reaffirmed citizens’ demand for peace in South Sudan to realize development.
Speaking in native Kakwa language, David Lokonga Moses says absence of peace retards development, Radio Easter reports.
He says peace is the first priority in his state.
Governor Lokonga advises all citizens to love peace to allow development take stage in the country.
The governor has also urged all citizens to cultivate more crops to fight the looming food crisis n the country.
He says the tractors distributed earlier this year will help boost the agricultural sector in Yei River State.
Governor Lokonga made the statement in Morobo County.
