The Government of South Sudan has accepted to clear 195 opposition troops accompanying First Vice President designate, Dr Riek Machar and opposition General Chief of General Staff, Simon Gatwech Dual to Juba.
Acting Foreign Affairs Minister, Peter Bashir Gbandi told a news conference on Wednesday that government had agreed to clear the opposition forces to return to Juba with their weapons, Radio Bakhita reports.
The arrival of the SPLM-In-Opposition Chairman reached a deadlock on Tuesday after the government denial to clear airspace for landing in of the opposition with more troops and weapons.
