FAO requires 45 million US Dollars to save 3.1 million families in South Sudan

The Food Agriculture Organization, FAO says 45 million US Dollars is needed for the implementation of its 2016 emergency campaign in South Sudan.
 
In its April situation report, FAO says it 45 million US Dollars to assist 3.1 million families in the country.
 
The report says 2.8 million South Sudanese remain severely food insecure.
 
2.3 million South Sudanese have been displaced by conflict, the report indicates.
 
FAO says the increasing weakness of South Sudan requires urgent support to protect agriculture assets to allow communities produce food and gain income.
