There is an increase of robbery among children below the age of 18 in Yambio County, says Police Child Protection Officer.
Police Second Lieutenant, Mary Bangafu says most children below the age of 18 years are involving themselves in robbery, Radio Anisa reports.
Most of the young children move along streets selling small things or doing nothing, the official says.
She urges all parents to send their children to school.

19 of the children are now in child police protection cell, she reveals.
