The First Vice President designate, Dr Riek Machar Teny is landing in Juba at 11 AM, the spokesperson of the SPLM-IO advance team confirms.
William Ezekiel tells Radio Bakhita this morning that Dr Machar will be received at Juba International Airport by a joint committee of government and SPLM-IO senior members.
Machar will then proceed to State House to take oath of office as First Vice President of the Republic, Ezekiel says.
The opposition confirms the release of their media members who have been under detention since last Tuesday.
They say they are happy to see their detained colleagues freed from detention.
