Five churches in Lainya constituting the inter-church have met for the first time in the start of administration.
The churches are the Roman Catholic, Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan-ECSSS, Sudan Pentecostal Church, National Gospel Church and Church of God, Radio Easter reports.
The meeting is a way forward for the churches to share ideas on developing work plans, says Zachariah Loku, the chairperson of inter-church committee.
Speaking in Arabic, Loku urges churches in South Sudan to get rid of discrimination so that the government takes their example.
The joint meeting was held at Holy Family Parish-Lainya.
