Communist Party downplays significance of registration

South Sudan’s Communist Party has downplayed significance of registering with the Political Parties’ Council.
 
The Council on Thursday published a list of eleven political parties it approved to exercise political rights in the country, Radio Bakhita reports.
 
Amongst those not in the list is the Communist party.
 
Its leader Ahmed Suleiman told Bakhita Radio that his party did not apply for registration with the Political Parties’ Council because the political parties Act is not democratic.
