A local organization in Wau State has stepped in to save collapsing small scale women business in Wau town.
Women businesses have been much affected with the high prices of commodities, says Linda Ferdinand, Women for Training and Promotion or WOTAP Director, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
Linda says they want to rescue the falling business of women in the state and enable them to stand again by giving small loans and skills.
Abda Abdullai, who sells cake used for tea escort, says with the high prices and lack of sustainable business capital they have been forced out of operation.
But for Women like Zakanu Jervas who deals in bread bakery has made progress despite commodity price hike.
She says now thinks of establishing a restaurant after she made good profit from bread selling.
More than 50 small-scale women business owners have been called for the training at WOTAP.
Ferdinand says women who will prove worth with the loans will have more chances of getting a bigger loan scheme.
