Partners express readiness to work with Yei State government

Plan International and Action Africa Help or AAH expressed their readiness to continue collaborating with Yei River authorities to respond to the needs of citizens in the state.

In a news release Radio Easter obtained, officials from Plan international and AAH on Tuesday met with line ministries chaired by Governor David Lokonga Moses.

The organization remains committed to support the government plans especially in the areas of education of girls, says Daniel Munchen, Country Director of Plan international.

He adds that Plan will offer scholarships for further studies.

On his side, AAH head of health sector, Dr Mamude Dinkiye, says the meeting helped to find ways of responding to the challenges.

It also answers to plans of the state including the need for health services such as facilities and solar power source.

Yei River Governor Lokonga Moses thanks the partners for their efforts and delivery of education and health services to citizens in the state.

He discloses that the state will soon hold a monthly coordination meeting between government, stakeholders and development partners for better services.
