The International Monetary Fund or IMF discloses a baseline projection for global growth with three point two percent this year.

Economic recovery is projected to build up in 2017 by 3.5 percent, says Maurice Obstfeld, IMF Chief Economic Counsellor.

Emerging market and developing economies are the drivers of global economic growth, he says.

But, the news of economic improvement does not apply to countries in crisis like South Sudan, the chief economist says.

Violence and other economic pressures cause humanitarian emergency, Obstfeld says.

The IMF chief economist observes rise in uncertainty and risks of weaker economic growth situations becoming more tangible.
