Students in Yambio predict success in the South Sudan Certificate exams that they are sitting today, Monday.

Hundreds of students from different secondary schools in Yambio assembled on Sunday at St Mary Catholic Parish to get blessings from God, Radio Anisa reports.

Fr Joseph Migidi prayed for the candidates and assured them of God’s protection and guidance to pass the exams successfully.

Viola Augustine from King’s College says she earlier feared the exams, but now courage and confidence have taken root in her to do her best.

She promises to become a professional doctor in South Sudan.

We have been seriously studying and preparing to pass the exams says, Bezuna Wenepai of Bishop Abangite Science and Technology College.

Last year the best top five students emerged from the Western Equatoria led by a female student from Bishop Abangite College in Yambio.
