More than 22 thosunad students are sitting for South Sudan and Sudan Certificates’ Exams in seventy-six centers across the country and Diaspora.
Some 191 students are sitting the joint exams in Egypt, Radio Bakhita reports.
Lul Ruei Dhol, Secretary-General of South Sudan National Examinations Council says they recorded increase in the numbers of enrollment this year.
He says the secretariat is prepared to tackle shortcomings during the exercise.
Dr John Gai Yoh, Minister for Education calls on authorities to put more efforts to the success of the exams in all centers.
14, 024 students are sitting for Sudan curriculum while 8,157 are sitting for South Sudan curriculum.
Less than 7,000 female students are taking part in the exams.
