Yei welcomes agreement on cattle repatriation

South Sudan Community Change Agency or SOSUCCA, a civil society organization has welcomed the agreement reached between state governors of Yei River, Jubek, Jonglei and Terekeka on the repatriation of cattle away from the region.
 
Nearly 300, 000 cattle are over grazing in Yei River State Counties of Lainya, Kajo-Keji and Morobo according to state authorities, Radio Easter reports.
 
Yei River State Governor David Lokonga Moses says they have formed a committee to examine the repatriation of the cattle.
 
But, Festo Bali Christopher, the Executive Director of SOSUCCA urges the committee to speed up the implementation to allow farmers continue cultivation as usual.
 
Bali suggests that the civil society should be involved in monitoring the implementation of the repatriation process.
