Head of traders in Kajo-Keji wounded by unknown attackers

The chairman of the Chamber of Commerce in Kajo-Keji County was on Thursday wounded in a shooting by unknown gunmen at his home in Lire area.
 
Alfred George Jame who is under medical care was shot at the chest and legs in the first time incident of unknown gunmen activities in the area.
 
Kajo-Keji County Press Secretary, Derick Derickson says the rare attack by the so called unknown gunmen has shocked all residents.
 
Derickson says the local security personnel are trying to establish the people behind the incident.
 
The county authority condemns the shooting as a barbaric act, the Press Secretary says.
 
Derickson says the wounded head of traders seems to be recovering steadily.
 
In another development, the Press Secretary says Kajo-Keji County is benefitting from free mobile medical services at Payam levels run by an American medical team of experts.
 
The American medical experts are funding a community based facility known as Healing Kadi Foundation.
 
Ben Yengi, a former commissioner of Kajo-Keji County is the forerunner of Healing Kadi Foundation.
