Uncompromising personalities within the government and SPLM/A-In-Opposition are hindering the implementation of the peace agreement, says activist.

Edmund Yakani, Executive Director of Community Empowerment for Progress Organization says there are individuals within and outside the signatories derailing the implementation to fulfil their personal interests, Radio Bakhita reports.

The activist challenges the peace partners to focus on implementation of the agreement instead of yielding to selfish influence from what he describes as hardliners.

Yakani made the remarks during a women’s forum in Juba on Thursday.
