Christians are people who have liberated themselves from evil, a catechist tells congregation during celebration of Easter at Saints Peter and Paul Parish under Heiban County, Nuba Mountains.
Elia Jalus says Christians are liberated from the slavery of sin, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
He says Christians are happy but the devil is not.
Jalus urges the faithful to remain in prayer because the true peace is the one that comes from God.
He adds that Christ died for human sins so that they might be saved as His death is a true liberation.
Jalus says to follow Christ, one must accept to die.
He urges youth in different chapels to assist their respective catechists in church activities.
