Women’s Monthly Forum Group expresses disappointment over the slow speed of the implementation of the peace agreement in the country.
Forum’s Coordinator, Sunday Betty Ben, says the situation is getting worse and the parties to the agreement are not doing enough to implement the deal, Radio Bakhita.
She urges the parties to accelerate the implementation of the agreement to enable peace return to South Sudan.
Betty calls on women in particular and South Sudanese in general to read the agreement document, understand and own it.
The activist made the comments during the Women’s Monthly Forum discussion in Juba on Thursday.
