Local authorities in Yei Municipality and the County have appreciated the role played by Radio Easter in transforming people’s lives.
The government comments as the station marked six years of service, Radio Easter reports.
Bidali Cosmas Wori-Kojo, Yei Municipal Mayor says media in the area has helped in boosting development.
The mayor expresses concern about neglect of remote areas by the media.
‘People like in Tore Payam are also far behind, the media should support the increment of the coverage,’ says the mayor.
The two officials were speaking on telephone interview to Radio Easter on Sunday.
