The chairperson of the national farmers’ union urges state authorities to cooperate with the union on the use of tractors provided by President Salva Kiir in 2015.
Cooperation will enable Ministers of Agriculture and state farmers’ union to implement proper utilization of the tractors, Makur Joseph Lueth tells Radio Bakhita.
Lueth also appeals to farmers to locate right places for cultivation and register with the Ministry of Agriculture.
He says a number of farmers were registered with the union, but more are needed for legality.
