Relocate the internally displaced persons or IDPs to enough piece of land where they can cultivate some food, Community Empowerment for Rehabilitation and Development Human Right officer urges Yei Local Government.

He suggests that the County Relief and Rehabilitation Commission cooperates with the local authorities to find enough land for the IDPs to cultivate during the rainy season.

On Monday, Internally displaced people from Wonduruba received food aid for the first time since they fled their homeland last October due to conflict.
About 4,000 IDPS from Wonduruba, Maridi and Mundri with many of them children and women are in Yei.
Most of the displaced peopled people are surviving on casual work, says Pitialee Paul, chairperson of Wonduruba IDPs.
