The clergy and religious in Yei Catholic Diocese have held a half day spiritual recollection as preparation for the chrism mass on Wednesday, tomorrow.
Sixteen diocesan priests including the bishop participated in the recollection, Radio Easter reports.
Two priests and a deacon from Mary Immaculate Parish, Wonduruba in the Archdiocese of Juba participated in the recollection also.
In the homily, Fr Jacob Thelekkadan, the parish priest of Holy Trinity Parish-Morobo calls for endurance to proclaim Jesus Christ even amidst hard times.
Diocesan Pastoral Coordinator, Fr Faustino Lumori encourages priests and the religious to maintain unity to work for better services.
Meanwhile, Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe, stresses that priests and religious should take such recollections serious to get strength in service.
The spiritual recollection was held at Lutaya pastoral centre on Tuesday, today.
