US Evangelical Archbishop urges South Sudanese to focus on unity

The United States, US Archbishop of the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches has called on South Sudanese to focus on promoting unity by allowing God to establish His Kingdom in the country.
 
Archbishop Charles Travis says South Sudanese should focus on development and welfare instead of harming themselves to destroy the God-given nation, Radio Bakhita reports.
 
The Church has a role to play by talking to leaders of all sorts to be role models, Archbishop Travis says.
 
The US Archbishop is expected to conduct sermons in Juba at Lemon Gaba area on Wednesday before travelling to Yambio.
 
He was speaking to journalists upon arrival at Juba International Airport on Tuesday.
