Dogs in the Nuba Mountains are running wild, biting people after eating carcass of cattle which died of unknown disease, says Head of St Francis of Assissi Chapel in the area.

Shogee Ahamd Tibro says one dog without even barking bit a lady, Radio Voice of Peace reports.

Some dogs that have eaten the dead cows lost directions and could not go back to their owners, Ahamd says.

He advises people to either burn any dead cow killed by the disease or burry to prevent dogs from eating it.
