Security normalises in Yei after road attack on Friday

Security situation calms after an attack on travellers on Yei-Morobo road on Friday, authorities have confirmed.
 
One woman was wounded on her right leg in the attack allegedly by gunmen in uniform, Radio Easter reports.
 
Four passenger vehicles along Yei-Morobo road fell into the surprise attack.
 
Yei Police Inspector, Colonel Jeremiah Maker Nai speaks in Arabic to inform citizens that the security is now normal.
 
Samuel Henry Malimbo, the Commissioner of Yei River County also confirms that traffic to Kaya and Yei is now normal.
 
He says security forces continue to track the identity and whereabouts of the attackers.
 
Authorities estimate the number of the attackers to be over 20.
 
But, an anonymous survivor estimates the figure to be more than 60.
