President Salva Kiir appeals to South Sudanese to maintain patience as government struggles to lessen economic challenges that cause suffering, says Cabinet Affairs Minister.
Dr Martin Elia Lomurö says it is through peace and unity that economic freedom can be achieved.
Dr Elia says the cabinet has directed the Ministry of Agriculture to establish cooperative union to sell essential commodities at affordable costs.
The president has directed speedy measures for the purchase of sorghums and other commodities to reduce suffering among citizens, Minister Elia explains.
The minister was briefing journalists after cabinet meeting on Friday.
