Lasting peace in South Sudan is achievable through equal representation in the national government, says Yambio Commissioner.

Hussein Enoka Ibrahim says if South Sudanese leaders are not doing what is stipulated in the constitution, citizens will continue to suffer, Radio Anisa reports.

South Sudanese must address their own messes, nobody else, Enoka says.

The commissioner says SSTV must broadcast all South Sudanese cultures to show equality and nationhood.

The commissioner was speaking during Human Rights International Day celebration on Wednesday in Yambio.

The Day was postponed on December 10 due to insecurity.
