A campaign launched last year to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS is successful, says counsellor in Kumbur Payam of Heiban County in Nuba Mountains.
Alucha Abdalla says since the launch of the campaign, people have known the dangers of the virus, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
Mr Abdallah calls on the people to continue coming to test their HIV so as to know their status.
The Mother of Mercy Mission Hospital launched a campaign last year after discovering that a number of people were tested positive.
The campaign was to raise awareness on HIV/ AID to reduce the number of people getting infected.
