The SPLM-In-Opposition is accusing government forces of attacking its bases in Western Bar el Ghazal and Equatoria regions.
SPLM- IO Chairperson of the Committee for Energy and Mining Henry Odwar told reporters in Juba on Thursday that government forces have broken the ceasefire agreement on several occasions, Radio Bakhita reports.
He says the SPLM-OI will lodge an official complain to the UN Security Council and other peace partners about the attacks.
There were clashes in Western Bar el Ghazal, confirmed SPLA Spokesperson Colonel Marko Mayol.
He says the leadership is gathering more information before fully commenting on the allegations.
Media reported clashes between SPLA and armed Opposition while their political leaderships are working to form the transitional government.
