Hundreds youth in Wau State on Monday gathered at the state secretariat to begin the formation of the stirring committee a head of the general election.
The committee is preparing youth to elect their new leaders to participate in the peace, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
Acting governor Andrea Dominic Safri calls on the young people to speed up the process of the formation of the youth leadership.
One of the youth Monica Illario, says the initiative would help address challenges facing youth.
She urges that gender balance should be considered in the stirring committee.
Iman Justin suggests that sports and cultural activities should be activated to help the young people unite as before.
The meeting drew together hundreds of youth of Wau and Jur River Counties.
