Priests, religious men and women together with the faithful of Yei Catholic Diocese at assembled on Monday morning for a requiem mass at Christ the King Cathedral for the soul of Fr Albino Adot Oryem.
The Christians remembered the service of late priest to God’s people as a Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Lomin in Kajo-Keji, Radio Easter reports.
In his reflection, Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit advises Christians to pray for God’s mercy to the fallen priest.
Fr Albino died on Thursday at the age of 57, at Lacor Hospital of Gulu in Uganda.
His requiem mass was presided by the Auxiliary Bishop of Juba Santo Loku on Saturday followed by burial in Rejaf cemetery.
The late Fr Albino was ordained priest by Archbishop of Juba Paulino Lukudu Loro in December 1987.
