UJOSS trains Journalists on Press Freedom Monitoring

Union of Journalists of South Sudan or UJOSS on Tuesday started training reporters from the states on Press Freedom Monitoring.
 
UJOSS General Secretary Edward Lodu Terso tells reporters that the training target the state Union members and Journalists, Radio Bakhita reports.
 
He said the training will assist in the documentation of the cases against media houses and Journalists.
 
Lodu Terso reiterates Union’s concerns to suspend membership of a Journalist who does not follow ethics.
 
He said the Union is ready to instruct media house to suspend Journalist who is unprofessional.
 
James Deng Dimo, one of the participants, says the skills will help him follow the event against media in his state.
 
The training supported by Norwegian People’s Aid, is expected to conclude on Thursday.
