Cattle raiding are not development activities, Governor of Imotong State tells youth during peace dialogue in Ikwoto County.
Nartisio Loluke Manir says people of Imotong should raid education, food production, sports and good working relationships instead of cattle rusling, Radio Emmanuel reports.
The two-day peace dialogue has also realized re-unification of 20 youth of Ikwoto County who escaped the area due to security threats from authorities.
William Okot encourages young people to bring happiness and support their leaders through peace building activities.
He donated two balls for female and male youth in the county in support of sports activities.
The dialogue ended with 27 recommendations including recognition of the importance of mutual peace, security and negative effects of violence.
