The national employees of Kenyan Commercial Bank, KCB South Sudan Ltd are for countrywide strike to demand 600 percent salaries’ adjustment.
Their national staff association chairman, Paul Ajok Garang says two months of negotiation over the adjustment came to a deadlock prompting them to strike.
Over 300 national employees demand equal treatment with their Kenyan colleagues, he says.
One of them says the salary adjustment is necessary to meet the market demands.
She explains that the KCB management was not listening to them and they decided to lay down their tools.
