South Sudanese will soon be able to report cases of gender-based violence, GBV in the country through mobile phones, reveals CEPO Director.

Edmond Yakani says the technology will help amplify reporting of gender-based violence in the country, Radio Bakhita reports.

He adds that technical personnel will undergo training next week before the project starts officially.

Yakani said CEPO will work with the special protection unit in the police to help authorities address GBV cases in the community.

The Director says reporting of gender-based violence cases will help in the ending the practice and implementation of the peace agreement.
