Border committees of the African Union will demarcate South Sudan-Uganda boundary next year, says Kajo-Keji County Commissioner.
Julius Lokonga says the joint border demarcation committees visited the county this week to engage the community on peaceful co-existence with Uganda.
The border demarcation is taking long time because many local committees have to be formed in addition to the technical committee, explains Commissioner Lokonga.
He maintains that border delineation cannot be done in hurry without series of community consultations.
The Commissioner urges border communities to remain patient and cooperative to witness the boundary definition in 2017.
Lokonga believes Kajo-Keji and Moyo citizens will be ready to take nationality of either Uganda or South Sudan for the interest of peace.
