Former armed youth on Monday reunified with their family members in Yambio County, after spending three months at the SPLA Headquarters in Maridi.
The two youth were reunified publically for the first time with their families, says Yambio County Commissioner, Hussein Enoka Ibrahim, Radio Anisa reports.
The new policy of the state government is that, any rebel captured will not be killed, but to be investigated and reunified with their family members, he declares.
Any suspected robber found looting people at night will be treated differently, Hussein warns.
One of the former armed youth thanked Maridi State leadership for fair treatment.
Gipson Peter, family member of the youth, expresses happiness for receiving his brother.
The youth were among the 42 detained former armed young men.
Two from Gbudue State were released by the Maridi State Governor.
