Radio Emmanuel Journalists on Monday began media training with a call for courage and positive reporting.
The three-day training on conflict sensitive reporting is being conducted by Search for Common Ground through Catholic Radio Network, Radio Emmanuel reports.
Managing Director of Caritas Torit William Okot says journalists can promote peaceful co-existence amongst communities only when they broadcast positive information.
He admits challenges journalists face in their daily duties whenever they try to uncover the unknown.
William urges participants to be open to improve their professional skills.

Nine journalists of Radio Emmanuel are participating in the training.
It is expected to conclude on Wednesday.
