Youths in Holy Trinity Parish Morobo in Catholic Diocese of Yei are participating in the Don Bosco Youth festival 2016.
All three hundred of them will compete in drama, singing and football tournaments, says Fr Sudhir Parmar, the assistant parish priest,.
Radio Easter reports quotes Fr Parmar as saying the parish has also programs on leadership, peace and Eucharist.
He stresses the need to empower youth to be good citizens and honest Catholics.
Fr Sudhir invites Christians from all parishes to celebrate the feast of Don Bosco on Sunday.
Mass will start at 10:00 AM, followed by a cultural program, he explains.
He announces that the competition ends on Saturday.
