Caritas in Yei Catholic Diocese trained 40 farmers in Lasu and Otogo Payams on post harvest.
The training aims to enable farmers acquire skills on drying, storage, pest management of the harvest and marketing, explains Bala Francis Assistant Livelihood Program Officer.
Radio Easter reported that Caritas plans to train more farmers in Otogo on similar topic next week.
Francis encourages farmers to be in groups and continue to cultivate vegetables during this dry season.
