The Internally displaced persons or IDPs in Yei are calling on the government and the humanitarian organizations to come into their rescue.
Samuel Albino Simon is the chairperson of IDPs in Yei. he said, since they arrived to Yei, World Food Program only gave them food once, Radio Easter reports.
‘It is through casual work that we survive in the camp’, he explains.
There is no help extended to the IDPs with acceptation of the small assistance by WFP since November last year, confirms Archangelo Sebit Manya Relief and Rehabilitation Commission’s Coordinator in Yei River.
He said due to the exposition of the IDPs in open space with no prevention, he is afraid of disease outbreak at any time in the camp.
