Community Empowerment for Rehabilitation and Development or CEFORD is calling for inclusion of citizens in the resolution of any related disputes over land or cattle.

Program Officer Benson Khamis observes that excluding citizens in conflict resolution process especially cattle rustling leads to continuous revenge, Radio Easter reported.

He blames land conflicts on some unclear provisions in the constitution and the Land Act.

Failure to involve those who participated in revenge promotes conflict, says Festo Bali Christopher, Director of South Sudan Community Change Agency.

The civil society activists were speaking during Radio Easter ‘South Sudan We Want’ talk-show on Saturday.
