The governor of Wau says Elia Kamilo Dimo will not serve as a town mayor.
Elias Waya Nyipouch told the public in a rally on Friday that he acted in response to the demand of the people, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
Governor Waya issued a directive, reinstating the Mayor which he realized that it was a mistake.
He says people demanded that the former mayor should not serve in the new state government.
The governor says his government will only accommodate few people to ensure effective service delivery.
