Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission, JMEC produced a one month timetable where formation of the government of national unity was fixed on January 22, says Faith-based group representative.
Bishop Enock Tombe told Radio Bakhita’s ‘wake-up Juba talk show’ on Wednesday that the parties agreed to submit the names of the ministers on Thursday.
Bishop Tombe appeals to citizens to work with the government and the SPLM-IO in the implementation of the peace agreement.
He said Dr Riek Machar is still waiting for his 350 bodyguards and the representatives to arrive in the country before formation of the transitional government.
JMEC on Tuesday announced that parties to the peace agreement will reveal names of national ministers they nominated to form a cabinet for the government of national unity.
